The composition represents a bird’s eye view. Below there is the inscription LIETUVA (LITHUANIA), the denomination (€10), the year of issue (2023) and the mintmark of the Lithuanian Mint. |

| 背面描述 | The reverse of the coin depicts the legend of the founding of Vilnius through artistic means. According to the legend, Gediminas, the Grand Duke of Lithuania, following a hunting trip, dreamt of an iron wolf, whose loud cry moved the waters of the Neris River. A sage named Lizdeika explained to Gediminas that a city would be built here, and its name would be heard all around the world. The composition is surrounded by the inscription “VILNIUS”, “700” and the initials of the author. |
