Descrição do anverso Portrait of Md. Ali Jinnah at the center. Muhammad Ali Jinnah (born Mahomedali Jinnahbhai; 25 December 1876 – 11 September 1948) was a barrister, politician and the founder of Pakistan. Jinnah served as the leader of the All-India Muslim League from 1913 until the inception of Pakistan on 14 August 1947, and then as the Dominion of Pakistan`s first Governor-General until his death. He is revered in Pakistan as the Quaid-i-Azam (`Great Leader`) and Baba-i-Qaum (`Father of the Nation`). His birthday is observed as a national holiday in Pakistan. Descrição do reverso The Badshahi Mosque (`Imperial Mosque`) is a Mughal era mosque in Lahore, capital of the Pakistani province of Punjab, Pakistan.The mosque is located west of Lahore Fort along the outskirts of the Walled City of Lahore, and is widely considered to be one of Lahore`s most iconic landmarks. The Badshahi Mosque was constructed by the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb between 1671 and 1673. The mosque is an important example of Mughal architecture, with an exterior that is decorated with carved red sandstone with marble inlay. It remains the largest mosque of the Mughal-era, and is the second-largest mosque in Pakistan.
