Reverse description At center, two crossed anchors behind an equilateral triangle, international symbol for Protection and Prevention. Over the triangle the symbols for ground, air and sea, through which, Mexico`s Navy fulfils it`s duty to assist civil population. Ground is represented by a K-9 team formed by a Navy Seal and a dog, mainly for search and rescue. Air is represented by a helicopter, used to transport personnel, materials, and allows for the rescue in hard-to-access zones. Sea is represented by a logistic support vessel, which is used to transport supplies, gear and human resources. Commemorative dates on left and right, mint mark at right and face value in numbers at bottom.
