Coat of arms of Suriname in the center composed of two Indians surrounding a medallion containing a sailboat. Below in a banner, the national motto of the country in Latin: Justitia Pietas Fides (Justice, Piety, Fidelity). The place (Paramaribo) and the date are printed in the center.
