| 表面の説明 | Coat of arms of Guatemala City. The shield is divided into two parts: The upper part has a representation of the Apostle Santiago, under whose invocation the capital city of Guatemala was founded. At the bottom there are 3 volcanoes, which represent Agua, Fuego and Acatenango, the one in the center in eruption. Instead, the volcanoes on the corners have crosses and trees symbolizing the evangelization that took place in the country, as well as the goodwill of the people, who sow peace and joy. Finally, the shield is surrounded by a border with eight insignia of the knights of the military orders |

| 裏面の説明 | General image of Cerro del Carmen. El Cerrito del Carmen is a Catholic hermitage and a cultural site located on top of Cerro del Carmen, in the Historic Center of Guatemala City, whose construction dates back to the seventeenth century, at least one hundred years before the foundation of said city. It is consecrated to the Virgen del Carmen and has been declared a national cultural heritage and a Marian sanctuary. The history of Cerrito del Carmen is intimately linked to that of the founding of the Guatemalan capital and has been rebuilt after the 1917 and 1976 earthquakes. |
