| Obverse description | In the center the head of a wild boar to represent the city of Svendborg, which originally was named `Svineborg` (Pigcastle). The rope represent the 1000 years maritime history of the city and is here used to create an inner and outer ring. The outer ring has the city name and year range for the jubilee. |
