Value on light brown or green guilloche pattern on slightly larger purple guilloche pattern underprint. Name of issuing entity in dark brown centered on top above text and value in text within a 4.5-inch bar, with on either side, the numeric value within an octagon with sides arced in, filled with radial-in microprint CEYLONGOVT. Value below in Sinhala on left and in Tamil on right. Place and date of issuance centered below. Two facsimile signatures right of center bracketed with serial number above and below on both left and right in ellipse filled with radial-out microprint TWORUPEES. Printer name at bottom left.
